Late. Shri. Balasaheb Ramrao Pawar had a Vision to start a library cum Study centre at Kannad a small Taluka from Aurangabad district his home town, where there were very limited resources for education. Later shaping his dreams into reality Mr. Mansingh Pawar (S/o Shri. Balasaheb Pawar) started the library cum study centre in 1998.
Interaction sessions with experts from realtime industry are organised with great enthusiasm at the premises. The Library has a multifunctional hall with seating capacity of 250+ , study centre, video conferencing class room, Digital Library, a centre for competitive exam preparation, Community centre for allied activities.

A Driving Force of Marathwada Development. Balasaheb Pawar was a visionary politician from the Marathwada region of Maharashtra. He was instrumental in introducing the co-operative movement in Marathwada that led to the overall development of the region. He entered politics in 1950 through the Indian National Congress to strengthen Marathwada. He did not have a godfather but was deeply influenced by his family’s urge to help anybody in need.
Under his leadership, educational institutions, hostels, dams and co-operative sugar factories were established. This led to a steady economic and social development of the people who were otherwise ignored in the grand scheme of things at that time.
